Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red aggressive midrange strategy commanded by Goro-Goro, Disciple of Ryusei. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap Equipment, Auras, and counters to satisfy the modified creature condition as early as possible. Once modified attackers are online, Goro-Goro converts mana into a steady army of 5/5 flying Dragon Spirit tokens. The deck supports this core engine with dragon-tribal payoffs like Dragon Tempest, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Dragon's Hoard, alongside combat multipliers like Akki Battle Squad and Full Throttle. Acceleration from Treasure-generating equipment and red rituals allows the deck to pay for high-cost activations and extra combat steps. While it excels at building large, evasive aerial boards and applying consistent combat pressure, the deck remains vulnerable to board wipes and lacks answers to opposing enchantments.
