Deck overview

This Edgar Markov deck is an aggressive, high-synergy Mardu Vampire aristocrats build backed by a lethal infinite combo. From the opening turns, Edgar Markov's Eminence ability converts every cheap Vampire cast into an extra 1/1 token, generating a wide board state with minimal mana expenditure. The deck uses low-CMC acceleration like Sol Ring, Dark Ritual, and Talismans to establish a wide board and drop engine pieces by Turn 4. The primary win condition revolves around pairing life-drain triggers from Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Marauding Blight-Priest, or Sanguine Bond with Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror, producing an immediate table-wide kill on Turn 5. If the combo pieces are contested, the deck effortlessly pivots into an aggressive combat swarm powered by lords like Stromkirk Captain, Drana, Liberator of Malakir, and the damage-doubling effect of Bloodletter of Aclazotz, all while maintaining resilient token generation.
