Deck overview

This deck leverages Xyris, the Writhing Storm to convert symmetrical card draw and wheel effects into an overwhelming army of 1/1 Snake tokens. Dense low-cost green ramp ensures Xyris lands reliably on Turn 4. On Turn 5, resolving a wheel such as Windfall or Winds of Change forces three opponents to draw cards, generating 21 Snake tokens simultaneously. These tokens trigger enter-the-battlefield burn permanents like Purphoros, God of the Forge and Impact Tremors for immediate life total pressure, or swing on Turn 6 under the buff of Beastmaster Ascension or Shared Animosity. While giving extra cards to opponents carries inherent risk, the deck mitigates this with efficient countermagic, targeted removal, and overwhelming board generation.
