Deck overview

This Izzet deck is built around Vivi Ornitier, transforming cheap cantrips and burn spells into scaling mana acceleration and table-wide damage. Vivi acts as both a burst-mana generator through its {0} activated ability and a win condition through noncreature spell triggers. The deck curves into Vivi on Turn 3, begins building counters and mana velocity on Turn 4, and launches a decisive storm turn on Turn 5. Damage doublers like Veyran, Voice of Duality and Harmonic Prodigy, along with mana engines like Birgi, God of Storytelling and Storm-Kiln Artist, enable long spell chains that burn opponents out via Fiery Inscription, Guttersnipe, and Vivi Ornitier. For compact finishes, the deck features Underworld Breach recursion loops and an infinite mana combo with Quicksilver Elemental funneling into Crackle with Power. Supported by protection equipment and cantrip selection, the deck delivers fast, explosive spellslinger victories.
