Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Gruul stompy strategy commanded by Xenagos, God of Revels. It leverages a dense suite of low-mana dorks and ramp spells to deploy Xenagos ahead of curve on Turn 3. Once Xenagos is active, the deck casts high-stature, trampling creatures that immediately receive haste and doubled power at combat. Threats such as Hydra Omnivore, Elder Gargaroth, and Ghalta, Primal Hunger apply immense life-total pressure starting on Turn 4, while engines like The Great Henge, Greater Good, and Garruk's Uprising convert immense creature power into sustained card draw.
