Deck overview

This deck is a non-green (WUBR) Superfriends Control strategy that integrates a concentrated polymorph package. Helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect, the list is engineered with only two creature cards in the entire 99: Blightsteel Colossus and Kozilek, Butcher of Truth. In the opening turns, the deck accelerates through 11 low-CMC mana rocks and generates fodder using token-producing planeswalkers and low-cost permanents like Skrelv's Hive and Staff of the Storyteller. By Turn 4 or 5, the deck leverages Jace's −3 ability or spells like Polymorph and Transmogrify to cheat one of its two massive Eldrazi/Phyrexian threats into play. Simultaneously, the deck establishes asymmetric stax using Narset, Parter of Veils, Teferi, Time Raveler, Ashiok, Dream Render, and Karn, the Great Creator to lock opponents out of extra cards, searches, artifact mana, and instant interaction, sealing the game through infect combat and planeswalker attrition.
