Davy Jones Locker by Tenzo

Format: Commander

Commander: Captain N'ghathrod

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Helmed by Captain N'ghathrod, this is a Dimir mill-and-steal deck that blends incremental Horror combat mill with explosive two-card library kills. The core plan is to strip cards from opponents' libraries with Bruvac the Grandiloquent, Maddening Cacophony, Fractured Sanity, Mindcrank, and the commander's own combat trigger, then convert those graveyards into board presence via Chainer, Dementia Master, Geth, Lord of the Vault, Portal to Phyrexia, and the commander's end-step reanimation. It can win through Bruvac-boosted mass mill, through the Mindcrank + Bloodchief Ascension loop, or by grinding out with Syr Konrad, the Grim, Nemesis of Reason, and Phenax, God of Deception. The commander is a force multiplier and a theft engine, but the deck's combo lines live almost entirely in the 99.
