Astarion Brew by ChiliKing

Format: Commander

Commander: Astarion, the Decadent

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Orzhov lifegain control that converts every point of life gained into opponent life loss. Astarion, the Decadent sits on top of the drain engine: Feed punishes one opponent for the life they lost during the turn, while Friends doubles your own gains. The fastest real kill is the Bloodthirsty Conqueror loop with Marauding Blight-Priest, Starscape Cleric, or Enduring Tenacity, but the deck has no tutors to find these pieces reliably. Without the loop, it grinds through passive drain triggers, lifelink combat, Exsanguinate, and Astarion's Feed. Many small permanents generate incidental life, tokens, and card flow, letting the deck survive board wipes and rebuild.
