Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Jeskai Superfriends control build led by Commodore Guff. The strategy focuses on establishing early mana acceleration through low-cost mana rocks, deploying defensive pillowfort creatures and taxes to protect planeswalkers from combat, and locking down opponent interaction with asymmetric stax pieces like Teferi, Time Raveler and Drannith Magistrate. Once stabilized, the deck deploys powerful loyalty multipliers including Oath of Teferi and Ichormoon Gauntlet to double planeswalker loyalty activations and proliferate counters rapidly. The primary win condition bypasses traditional combat stalls by converting loyalty counters and planeswalker counts into lethal direct damage through All Will Be One, Chandra, Legacy of Fire, and Guff's -3 ability, supported by flying Dragon beatdown from Sarkhan the Masterless. Robust counterspells and silence effects protect critical turns, making the deck resilient against opposing interaction while systematically grinding down the table.
