Ave Maria by Spaguter

Format: Commander

Commander: Celes, Rune Knight

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Celes, Rune Knight leads a combo-reanimator deck that uses her loot trigger to fill the graveyard and her +1/+1 counter trigger to break persist loops. The primary plan is to assemble a repeatable sacrifice loop with persist creatures and a drain/ping payoff, winning through infinite damage or life loss. Secondary paths include value reanimation with Alesha, Chainer, and Terra, and a backup combo using First Day of Class to replace Celes's counter effect. The commander doubles as both a filtering engine and the critical counter source that allows persist creatures to loop; without her, the deck falls back on hatebears and recursion to stay in the game.
