Alela, Cunning Conqueror by user4966526

Format: Commander

Commander: Alela, Cunning Conqueror

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Alela, Cunning Conqueror pilots a flash Faerie tempo deck that plays almost entirely on opponents' turns, generating Faerie tokens while countering spells and disrupting boards. The primary plan is incremental chip damage through evasive Faeries, with goad effects and removal to control combat. Secondary paths include drawing into a critical mass of flash threats like Slitherwisp and Nymris to grind value, and a surprise tempo swing via Notorious Throng for mass tokens and an extra turn. The commander's role is to create tokens and goad, deterring attacks while enabling Talion and Kindred Discovery. No hidden commander; both faces of MDFCs are lands or spells but the deck uses Alela as the sole commander.
