Deck overview

This Boros deck is an aggressive tribal strategy led by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, focusing on flooding the battlefield with Dwarves, Equipment, and Treasure tokens. Early turns establish a low-curve creature foundation and mana fixing. Once Thorin enters on Turn 4 or 5, every subsequent Dwarf generates Treasure tokens while Thorin's static ability converts every artifact token into a massive power boost for the entire Dwarf army. The deck supplements combat damage with burst direct-damage triggers from Dáin of the Ancient Halls and Smaug the Magnificent, alongside combat amplifiers like Collective Inferno and Dáin Ironfoot. While the list features resilient Equipment support and alternative win conditions such as Hellkite Tyrant, its primary route to victory is overwhelming opponents with high-power, go-wide combat damage across Turns 5 to 7. A balanced suite of white and red removal, coupled with targeted protection spells, supports the aggressive game plan against opposing disruption.
