Deck overview

Queen Marchesa is a Mardu monarch-control deck. Its primary plan is to become and stay the monarch, using Queen's deathtouch/haste Assassins and pillow-fort effects to discourage attacks while drawing an extra card every turn, then convert that advantage into a Gisela-doubled finish. Secondary paths include Sunforger tutoring for Price of Progress and copying it with Reverberate/Return the Favor, Brash Taunter damage reflection, and a double-striking Queen with Sunforger plus Boros Charm. The commander's role is card advantage and board deterrent; she rarely wins alone. There is no double-faced hidden commander, but Sunforger effectively acts as a hidden equipment commander, pulling red/white instants at instant speed.
