worm by Acethehunter

Format: Commander

Commander: Baru, Wurmspeaker

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This mono-green deck is a straightforward Wurm-tribal midrange strategy helmed by Baru, Wurmspeaker. The plan is to ramp aggressively into a board of enormous, trampling Wurms, then leverage Baru's anthem effect and his activated ability to churn out 4/4 Wurm tokens. The deck lacks infinite combos, relying instead on overwhelming combat damage. Key payoffs like Worldspine Wurm and Sandwurm Convergence provide inevitability, while Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond turn each big creature into a card-draw engine. The commander is a force multiplier, not a necessity-the deck can still function as a good-stuff beatdown pile if Baru is repeatedly removed.
