Deck overview

This deck is a four-color (sans-green) Polymorph Control strategy built around Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan focuses on utilizing cheap, recurring token generators such as Dreadhorde Invasion, Skrelv's Hive, and Shorikai, Genesis Engine to supply expendable fodder. Jace is deployed from the command zone on Turn 4 or 5, immediately activating his -3 loyalty ability to transform a token into an overwhelming creature or planeswalker bomb, such as Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, or Archfiend of Despair. The deck protects its setup using elite free commander interaction including Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat, while stifling opposing interaction with Teferi, Time Raveler.
