New Untitled Deck

Format: Commander

Commander: Derevi, Empyrial Tactician

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Derevi, Empyrial Tactician is the engine of a Bant flyers build that wins through a wide, evasive clock. The deck drops cheap Birds, cheapens them with Watcher of the Spheres, then uses Derevi's command-zone ability to return for four mana and its damage trigger to untap lands/tap blockers, generating post-combat mana. Anthems and Kastral, the Windcrested turn a board of 2/2 Birds into lethal attackers; Bower Passage removes flying blockers. A snow sub-theme centered on Marit Lage's Slumber gives a secondary 20/20 inevitability. There is no hidden commander; the snow package and Kastral are payoffs, not alternate commanders.
