Talrand version 1 by JJGombert

Format: Commander

Commander: Talrand, Sky Summoner

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Talrand, Sky Summoner is the deck's primary engine and its commander is single-faced; there is no double-faced commander in the command zone. The plan is simple: play Talrand early, then use cheap instants and sorceries to draw, counter, and bounce while every spell also creates a flying Drake. The deck eventually wins by converting that Drake swarm into lethal combat damage with Favorable Winds, Coat of Arms, or Banner of Kinship. Secondary paths come from Murmuring Mystic, Docent of Perfection, and Alandra as backup token-and-draw engines. The hidden spell-value engine is most likely Ojer Pakpatiq, though it remains a support piece rather than a replacement commander. No full deterministic combo exists; Hullbreaker Horror plus Sol Ring makes mana but not a finish.
