Vivi Ornitier Storm [TOODEEP] by Atelius

Format: Commander

Commander: Vivi Ornitier

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This deck is a blisteringly fast Izzet spellslinger combo list helmed by Vivi Ornitier. The primary game plan is to generate overwhelming mana through rituals and fast mana rocks, then deploy a compact infinite-combo kill-typically Underworld Breach + Lion's Eye Diamond + Brain Freeze-to mill all opponents out. Vivi Ornitier serves as a secondary win condition: each noncreature spell puts a +1/+1 counter on it and deals 1 damage to each opponent, so a sufficiently high storm count can close the game directly. The commander's activated ability, which adds X mana of any combination of {U} and {R} where X is its power, also doubles as a ritual enabler once its power grows. The deck is built for cEDH-level speed, packing a dense suite of free counterspells and instant-speed interaction to protect its combo turn.
