Deck overview

This deck is a focused Rakdos Dragon Tribal and Reanimator build commanded by Rivaz of the Claw. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns, using looting and discard spells to seed the graveyard with high-impact Dragon threats, and leveraging Rivaz both as a two-mana ramp piece and as a repeatable reanimator. By Turn 4 or 5, the deck deploys massive flying beaters such as Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, Bonehoard Dracosaur, and Scourge of the Throne. Haste enablers like Dragon Tempest and Rising of the Day eliminate summoning sickness delays, allowing the deck to pressure life totals immediately while dealing incidental board damage through Dragon ETB and attack triggers. Asymmetric sweepers like Crux of Fate break board symmetry in the mid-game, while redundant reanimation spells ensure the deck can rebuild quickly after removal.
