Commander: The Mighty Thor, Jane Foster

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Mighty Thor, Jane Foster is a UW Equipment-combat deck that uses the commander as a cheap, evasive value engine. Every Equipment entering draws a card, and each attack can blink the best artifact or creature on the battlefield - usually an own ETB piece such as Cloud, Midgar Mercenary, Ichor Wellspring, or Sword of Hearth and Home, or an opponent's blocker, which returns tapped. The 99 is built around a dense Equipment package with free-attachment tools like Sigarda's Aid, Hammer of Nazahn, and Halvar, God of Battle, plus cost reducers in Etherium Sculptor, Shuri, Wakandan Inventor, and Artificer Class. The primary finish is commander damage via double-striking, heavily equipped attacks, with Mjolnir, Storm Hammer adding reach against all opponents and Riptide Gearhulk / Portal to Phyrexia serving as control finishers. Cloud, Midgar Mercenary acts as a hidden commander, repeatedly tutoring Equipment when blinked.
