Deck overview

This mono-blue combo-control deck centers on Jin-Gitaxias // The Great Synthesis. The primary game plan accelerates mana in the early turns using efficient mana rocks and cost reducers, sculpting a full hand of seven cards. On Turn 4 or 5, the deck deploys Jin-Gitaxias and transforms him into The Great Synthesis. Chapter I immediately doubles the player's hand size, providing a massive burst of card advantage. Proliferate spells like Flux Channeler, Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, and Contentious Plan rapidly advance the Saga's lore counters. Chapter II wipes opposing non-Phyrexian creatures, while Chapter III allows the entire hand to be cast without paying mana costs. From this point, the deck deploys game-winning permanents like Omniscience, chains extra turns with Time Warp and Nexus of Fate, and draws through its entire library to close out the game with Laboratory Maniac or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries.
