Deck overview

This deck is a Boros go-wide token aristocrats and burn strategy helmed by Taii Wakeen, Perfect Shot. Rather than relying heavily on the commander, the 99 functions as an independent token engine. It pairs prolific token generators like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon, and Krenko, Mob Boss with passive burn pieces such as Impact Tremors, Warleader's Call, and Witty Roastmaster. While Taii Wakeen, Perfect Shot can amplify noncombat damage and convert exact-toughness kills into card draw, the primary plan aims to assemble an overwhelming army and convert board development into noncombat life loss. The deck features solid removal and functional redundancy, though it lacks tutors and protection against board wipes.
