Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord is a Grixis amass-reanimator value deck. The commander turns opponent spells and Army hits into card advantage through the Ring, letting you discard a full hand and draw four, with Bone Miser converting the discards into Zombies, mana, and cards. The primary plan is grinding into a huge Army and ending with commander damage or a mass Living Death swing; Saruman, the White Hand, Great Goblin, Foul-Hearted, and The Great Goblin accelerate both amass and drain. Sauron, the Necromancer and In the Darkness Bind Them provide a second wave. Interaction is plentiful, with counters, removal, and graveyard recursion making the deck resilient despite an unspectacular clock.
