Bard, King of Dale by Wellspring

Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale doubles both extra draws and token creation, turning every second-card trigger into two cards and every token maker into twice the board. The primary plan is go-wide tokens: resolve Bard then generate Humans, Drakes, Illusions and Soldiers with Adeline, Alandra, Detective of the Month, Homunculus Horde and Prince Imrahil, and close with anthems like Intangible Virtue, Inspiring Leader and Knowledge Is Power. Secondary paths are Psychosis Crawler and Scrawling Crawler drain, Laboratory Maniac deck-out via Consecrated Sphinx and Teferi's Ageless Insight, and Approach of the Second Sun + Reprieve. Elspeth, Storm Slayer and Teferi's Ageless Insight act as hidden commanders as redundant doublers when Bard is removed.
