Deck overview

This Sultai snow deck is commanded by Jorn, God of Winter and its flip side Kaldring, the Rimestaff. The primary game plan revolves around assembling a high count of snow permanents to maximize Jorn's attack trigger, which untaps every snow permanent you control. This doubles your available mana each turn cycle, fueling expensive snow spells, card advantage engines like Frost Augur and Scrying Sheets, and big mana threats. The deck closes games through massive snow-scaling creatures like Conifer Wurm, Abominable Treefolk, and Rimefeather Owl, or by summoning a 20/20 indestructible Marit Lage token using Dark Depths or Marit Lage's Slumber. While it excels at asymmetric creature control with Dead of Winter and Blood on the Snow, it lacks dedicated stack interaction and instant-speed protection, requiring thoughtful combat timing to close out multiplayer tables.
