Deck overview

This Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow deck executes a high-tempo Ninjutsu burn strategy designed to pressure all three opponents simultaneously. The deck deploys evasive one-drop creatures on Turn 1 and uses Commander Ninjutsu on Turn 2 to bypass commander tax, putting Yuriko into combat uncountered. Each combat damage trigger draws cards while dealing direct life loss equal to the revealed card's mana value. The deck accelerates this clock by packing extreme mana value payloads such as Draco, Shadow of Mortality, and Temporal Trespass, which it sets up using topdeck manipulation like Insidious Dreams and Scroll Rack. If opponents attempt to stall combat, alternate cheat packages like Satoru Umezawa, Show and Tell, and Reanimate drop game-ending threats like Blightsteel Colossus and Void Winnower directly onto the battlefield.
