Smaug the magnificent deck 1 by Hally

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Magnificent

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Smaug the Magnificent helms an aggressive mono-red Treasure and Dragon stompy deck designed to turn artifact generation into overwhelming damage. Smaug applies immediate aerial pressure with haste, creating Treasures and turning your accumulated hoard into direct burn whenever he attacks. The deck ramps quickly into massive flying threats like Terror of the Peaks, Goldspan Dragon, and Cavern-Hoard Dragon that punish opposing boards. You achieve victory by overwhelming opponents in combat, burning them down with dragon enter-the-battlefield triggers, winning on your upkeep with Hellkite Tyrant, or taking infinite extra combat steps using Aggravated Assault paired with The Reaver Cleaver.
