Deck overview

Sai, Master Thopterist commands a mono-blue artifact strategy focused on rapid token generation, high-velocity card draw, and evasive aerial beatdown. The deck utilizes low-cost artifacts and cost reducers like Sol Ring, Chrome Mox, and Etherium Sculptor to deploy Sai on Turn 2 or 3. Once Sai is active, casting artifacts generates an army of 1/1 flying Thopter tokens while triggering draw engines such as Vedalken Archmage, Shimmer Dragon, and The Reality Chip. With strong card velocity, the deck transitions from value generation to a lethal board presence on Turn 5, deploying scaling payoffs like Master of Etherium, Kappa Cannoneer, Nettlecyst, or Graaz, Unstoppable Juggernaut. Defensively, the deck uses countermagic, bounce spells like Cyclonic Rift, and taxes like Propaganda and Narset, Parter of Veils to protect its board and disrupt opponents before closing the game around Turn 7.
