Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Azorius deck is a token-engine value deck built around Bard, King of Dale's doubling of token creation and card draw. It aims to snowball Thopter and Myr tokens through overlapping engines like Sai, Master Thopterist, Efficient Construction, Thopter Spy Network, and Stridehangar Automaton, using the resulting card advantage to grind into a large flyer swing, often finished with Akroma's Will. A secondary win condition is Mechanized Production, which reaches eight same-name artifacts quickly enough once the commander doubles its copies. The deck packs a reasonable suite of counterspells and board wipes to protect its board, but its mana base and tutor count are modest.
