Faeries by ekkochamber

Format: Commander

Commander: Alela, Cunning Conqueror

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Dimir Faerie flash/tempo deck built around Alela, Cunning Conqueror. The plan is to hold up mana on every opponent's turn, cast flash Faeries and instants, and let Alela turn the first spell of each opponent's turn into a 1/1 flying Faerie token. The board then snowballs through token engines like Bitterblossom and Bitterbloom Bearer, tribal lords like Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor and Scion of Oona, and mass pumps like Door of Destinies, Banner of Kinship, and Coat of Arms. The primary win is evasive Faerie combat, accelerated by Obyra, Dreaming Duelist drain triggers and Shadow Puppeteers turning every attacker into a 4/4. Goad from Alela and Nettling Nuisance keeps blockers out of the way. There is no infinite combo; this is an attrition-control deck that wins by repeated card advantage and a final aerial alpha strike.
