Deck overview

This is a mono-black aristocrats/combo deck that treats Super Shredder as an optional growth engine rather than the central plan. The real deck lives in the 99: sacrifice Gravecrawler through a free outlet, convert every death into table-wide drain with Zulaport Cutthroat, Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, or Marionette Apprentice, and recast it from the graveyard indefinitely. The cleanest loop is Warren Soultrader + Gravecrawler + any drain payoff, but the deck also has mana-positive lines through Phyrexian Altar and Ashnod's Altar, plus a big-mana backup of Cabal Coffers, Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, Crypt Ghast, Exsanguinate, and Torment of Hailfire. Dense tutors, recursive creatures, and token generators give it strong redundancy, while Bolas's Citadel, Necropotence, and Syr Konrad, the Grim provide grind, digging, and alternative drain inevitability.
