Commander: Satoru Umezawa

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Satoru Umezawa leads a Dimir ninjutsu cheat deck that uses unblockable one-drops to put huge creatures into play for {2}{U}{B}. The primary plan is to land an evasive attacker, cast Satoru, then ninjutsu in Eldrazi, Praetors and demons like Blightsteel Colossus, Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Void Winnower and Archon of Cruelty for card advantage and board control. Silver-Fur Master and Training Grounds discount ninjutsu, while Thousand-Faced Shadow and Peregrine Drake enable value loops. Secondary paths use native ninjas Fallen Shinobi and Silent-Blade Oni to steal spells. Kaito, Bane of Nightmares acts as a hidden commander, growing ninjas and drawing cards.
