The Price is Fight by drangan11

Format: Commander

Commander: Itazura, Lingering Wick

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a high-curve Izzet control-value deck built around Itazura, Lingering Wick, a political upkeep engine that exiles the top three cards of your library, pressures opponents with a secret-number damage bid, lets the highest bidder cast one of those cards for free, and puts an uncast card into your hand. The list multiplies that trigger with extra upkeeps and beginning phases (Paradox Haze, Sphinx of the Second Sun, Shadow of the Second Sun, The Ninth Doctor) and clones the commander (Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, Spark Double, Helm of the Host). The payoff package is classic big mana: Eldrazi titans, Blightsteel Colossus, Omniscience, One with the Multiverse, discover/cascade cheats, and a dense extra-turn suite. Primary wins come from free or hard-cast annihilator/infect beaters and extra-turn locks; secondary paths include Descent into Avernus drain and overloaded Cyclonic Rift into a decisive swing. The deck plays as interactive big-mana control that uses Itazura as a repeatable impulse engine rather than a combo piece.
