Deck overview

King of the Oathbreakers is a resilient Orzhov flight deck that wins by converting a board of flying Spirit tokens into one massive Akroma's Will combat. The King functions as a removal-proof token engine: spells aimed at him phase him out, and every phase-in creates a flying Spirit. The primary plan is go-wide tokens; the secondary path is equipment voltron on the King, usually with Anduril, Flame of the West, which also makes tokens on attack. Thalisse, Reverent Medium and Kaya, Geist Hunter act as pseudo-commanders that multiply token output. The deck has no true hidden commander; Katilda and Thalisse are support engines that complement the King's phase-based protection.
