Deck overview

This deck is an unrestricted, vintage-power combo list that uses the fastest mana in Magic history to execute lethal combos within the first two turns. Helmed by Jodah, Archmage Eternal, the deck can bypass high mana costs, but its primary strategy relies on ultra-compact lines such as Thassa's Oracle paired with Demonic Consultation, or Isochron Scepter paired with Dramatic Reversal. Fast mana like Black Lotus, Mana Crypt, and the original Mox cycle lets the pilot deploy game-ending card engines—such as Yawgmoth's Bargain, Griselbrand, or Tinker into Bolas's Citadel—on Turn 1 or 2. Disruptive silver bullets like Balance, Hullbreacher, and Force of Will protect the combo window and strip opposing resources. If the primary plan is interrupted, independent backup win conditions and extra-turn loops with Panoptic Mirror and Time Walk ensure rapid recovery and table closure.
