Deck overview

This is a Rakdos treasure-combo deck helmed by Smaug the Impenetrable, an indestructible hasted 8/7 dragon that creates a burst of Treasure tokens whenever it is dealt noncombat damage. The primary game plan is to accelerate into Smaug via rituals and Treasure generators, then use a self-pinging spell (Self-Destruct or Cut Propulsion) to create a massive pile of tokens. Those Treasures fuel extra combat steps through Aggravated Assault, enable Magda, Brazen Outlaw to fetch Hellkite Tyrant or Goldspan Dragon, or simply drain the table with Mayhem Devil, Mirkwood Bats, or Marionette Apprentice. Alternative wins include Revel in Riches (ten Treasures at upkeep), Torment of Hailfire with a huge X, and the 100-damage cannon on Dawnsire, Sunstar Dreadnought. The deck is explosive, redundant in token generation, and resilient through multiple interlocking combo lines, though it lacks strong tutors for its key enablers.
