Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy mono-black Aristocrats and graveyard combo engine commanded by Syr Konrad, the Grim. The primary game plan focuses on filling the graveyard with creature cards and deploying efficient sacrifice outlets to drain opponents through Konrad's multifaceted damage triggers. Early turns establish mana acceleration through artifacts and dark rituals while tutoring recurring creatures like Gravecrawler and Bloodghast directly to the graveyard with Entomb and Buried Alive. By Turn 4 to 5, the deck deploys Syr Konrad and executes immediate win conditions, including the infinite drain loop of Warren Soultrader and Gravecrawler, massive burst damage via Morality Shift, or deterministic library depletion with Bloodchief Ascension and Mindcrank. The list features exceptional graveyard recovery through low-cost reanimation spells and enforces strong creature board control via Grave Pact and Massacre Wurm, though it remains vulnerable to instant-speed graveyard exile and stack-based combo interaction.
