The X Wife - (Bracket 4) by GingerOnABinger

Format: Commander

Commander: Magus Lucea Kane

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This five-color Dragon tribal deck is built around The Ur-Dragon's eminence discount and his attack-trigger card advantage, but its real teeth are compact infinite-combat packages. The primary kill is the classic Savage Ventmaw + Aggravated Assault or Hellkite Charger loop: Ventmaw refunds six mana on each attack, and every extra-combat activation nets mana, so the chain ends with the full dragon swarm attacking repeatedly in a single turn. Nature's Will provides a parallel untap engine that goes infinite with either extra-combat card. Around the combo sits a dense value core - Tiamat acts as a hidden commander that tutors the pair, Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm doubles threat density, Sneak Attack cheats dragons in for one red mana, and Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Terror of the Peaks convert every entry into reach. A fast-mana base of Moxen, Mana Vault, Grim Monolith, dorks, and Bloom Tender races the deck to six-plus mana, while free protection spells secure the winning turn.
