Deck overview

This mono-red deck focuses on explosive mana acceleration and combat step manipulation centered on Etali, Primal Storm. By utilizing a dense array of low-mana rocks, rituals, and Treasure engines, the deck rapidly deploys Etali ahead of curve on Turn 4. Haste enablers ensure Etali triggers immediately upon entry, exiling the top card of every player's library and casting nonland spells for free. The deck compounds this massive card and mana velocity by leveraging multiple additional combat phases via cards like Aggravated Assault, Karlach, Fury of Avernus, and Moraug, Fury of Akoum, alongside trigger multipliers such as Roaming Throne. While vulnerable to well-timed instant-speed creature removal and lacking universal stack disruption, the list delivers overwhelming snowballing value and wide board swings capable of closing out games by Turn 6.
