Deck overview

Pantlaza, Sun-Favored commands a proactive Naya Dinosaur stompy deck that converts ramp into high-impact creature threats and cascading card advantage. The game plan accelerates through two-mana land search and mana dorks on the early turns, establishing five mana to cast Pantlaza by Turn 4. Pantlaza immediately triggers Discover 4 upon entering the battlefield, cheating an additional permanent or card draw engine into play. On subsequent turns, deploying massive Dinosaurs such as Etali, Primal Conqueror, Gishath, Sun's Avatar, or Vaultborn Tyrant triggers higher Discover values alongside power-based card draw engines like Garruk's Uprising. Haste enablers like Palani's Hatcher and Rhythm of the Wild allow newly deployed threats to attack immediately. The deck closes games around Turn 7 by delivering overwhelming trample damage across multiple opponents, amplified by finishers like Akroma's Will or Chandra's Ignition. While susceptible to targeted disruption and heavy board wipes, mass blink spells and persistent death triggers provide resilient recovery.
