Deck overview

This deck is a mid-power Boros graveyard midrange deck commanded by Quintorius, History Chaser. The game plan revolves around leveraging discard outlets, self-mill, and reanimation to trigger Quintorius's ability whenever cards leave the graveyard, rapidly assembling a wide board of 3/2 Spirit tokens. The deck accelerates on curve through 2- and 3-mana ramp artifacts before casting Quintorius on Turn 4. Once assembled, Quintorius filters cards with its +1 ability while engines like Squee, Goblin Nabob, Containment Construct, and Excava, the Risen Past consistently trigger Spirit generation. The deck transitions into a lethal threat on Turn 6 by utilizing Quintorius's -4 loyalty ability for team-wide double strike or resolving high-impact anthems such as Hofri Ghostforge and Moonshaker Cavalry. Although resilient against spot removal through deep recursion redundancy, the deck is vulnerable to mass graveyard exile and lacks stack-based interaction.
