Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue tempo and control strategy commanded by Jill, Shiva's Dominant // Shiva, Warden of Ice. It controls the pace of the game through dense, low-cost bounce spells, instant-speed countermagic, and repeatable blink engines. In the early turns, the deck deploys mana rocks and value creatures like Dour Port-Mage and Aether Channeler to establish steady card flow. By the mid game, engines such as Thassa, Deep-Dwelling or Displacer Kitten repeatedly reset opposing boards and re-trigger enter-the-battlefield abilities. The deck transitions into winning through high-impact threats like Hullbreaker Horror, Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, and Auton Soldier, or by transforming Jill into Shiva, Warden of Ice to tap down opposing lands and grant unblockable attacks. Because the list wins through fair combat damage without infinite combos, it trades permanent removal for overwhelming tempo advantage, closing out games across multiple combat steps while keeping opposing boards completely suppressed.
