Format: Commander

Commander: Yargle and Multani

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Yargle and Multani is an all-in voltron deck built around an 18-power commander. The primary plan is to accelerate Yargle into play by turn 3-4, attach a one-shot damage package such as Fireshrieker or Grafted Exoskeleton, and make it unblockable with Whispersilk Cloak or Rogue's Passage. Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord acts as a hidden commander, converting Yargle's enormous power into life loss when combat is not available. The deck is linear but efficient: each unblocked hit removes one opponent. It is heavily dependent on Yargle staying alive, so protection spells are essential to the game plan.
