Sauron - Aristocrat (from Morgolith) by uriigrao

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis aristocrats deck built around Sauron, the Dark Lord as a card-advantage engine rather than an amass theme. The primary plan is to assemble one or more death/ETB payoffs-Purphoros, Blood Artist, Mayhem Devil, Goblin Bombardment-then convert token producers and sacrifice outlets into tablewide drain. Secondary paths use Sauron's ring/discard trigger to refuel, Syr Konrad as a mill/drain alternate, and Sephiroth's transform emblem as a stacked drain effect. The double-faced Sephiroth is not the commander but functions as a hidden transform finisher, since its One-Winged Angel emblem doubles every death trigger. The commander's role is draw/discard engine and amass token generator; the deck can function without him but is slower. No true infinite combo is present.
