Format: Commander

Commander: Berta, Wise Extrapolator

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Berta, Wise Extrapolator leads a Simic Frog/+1/+1-counter deck that converts counter placement into mana and Fractal tokens. The primary plan is to deploy Berta early, multiply counters with Branching Evolution and The Earth Crystal, then either race to 20 growth counters on Simic Ascendancy or trample over opponents with enormous Frogs and Fractals. Secondary paths use Twenty-Toed Toad's alternate win and Grolnok's attack-mill to rebuild through exile. Berta is the main engine, but the deck has enough independent counter synergy to keep operating moderately if she is answered. There is no double-faced commander; Grolnok is the closest to a hidden commander, but the deck is not warped around him.
