Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Wizard tribal combo-control deck commanded by Inalla, Archmage Ritualist. Inalla's eminence ability functions directly from the command zone, allowing you to pay one mana whenever a nontoken Wizard enters to create a temporary token copy with haste. The deck leverages this mechanic for massive early card velocity through cheap Wizards like Baleful Strix, Sea Gate Oracle, and Aether Channeler, quickly digging into interaction and win conditions. Its primary path to victory uses compact infinite combos: Bloodline Necromancer paired with Ashnod's Altar generates infinite colorless mana and infinite hasty 3/2 tokens for an immediate same-turn table kill. Redundant win conditions include Dualcaster Mage loops with Ghostly Flicker or Saw in Half, as well as Rionya, Fire Dancer with Combat Celebrant. Backed by efficient counterspells, asymmetric board wipes like Cyclonic Rift, and on-board permission from Patron Wizard, the deck maintains strong control until executing its decisive finish.
