Bill Bill Bill Bill by RinLoch

Format: Commander

Commander: Bristly Bill, Spine Sower

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Bristly Bill, Spine Sower helms a mono-green stompy deck that marries landfall triggers with +1/+1 counter synergies. The core plan is to ramp aggressively, drop extra lands each turn, pile counters on creatures, and double those counters repeatedly through Bill's activated ability, Doubling Season, Branching Evolution, Innkeeper's Talent, and similar effects. The commander acts as a force multiplier rather than a required engine, and the deck can pivot between a wide token swarm (Scute Swarm, go-wide from Last March of the Ents) and a hand-full-of-dinosaurs beatdown. Finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth and Triumph of the Hordes convert a developed board into a simultaneous table kill. Cheat-into-play effects (Oviya, Automech Artisan, Ojer Kaslem, Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant) bypass mana curves, and a handful of protection pieces (Heroic Intervention, Inspiring Call, Constant Mists) shield the board from wipes. The deck has low stack interaction but leans into raw power, counter multiplication, and explosive land-based ramp.
