Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck uses Ovika, Enigma Goliath to convert noncreature spells into an overwhelming army of hasty Phyrexian Goblin tokens. The early game focuses on deploying low-cost mana rocks and spell cost reducers like Baral, Chief of Compliance and Goblin Electromancer. Once Ovika enters the battlefield on Turn 6, every cantrip, ritual, and counterspell creates tokens equal to its mana value. The deck quickly finishes the game on Turn 7 by pumping the token swarm with Haze of Rage, chaining massive storm spells, or executing an infinite Magecraft combo with Storm-Kiln Artist. A deep counterspell suite featuring Mana Drain and Fierce Guardianship defends the board while Cyclonic Rift clears opposing defenses.
