Deck overview

This deck is a focused Selesnya Lifegain and Tokens midrange deck commanded by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice. The deck aims to accelerate on early turns using efficient mana dorks and land ramp, allowing Trostani to enter play on Turn 3. It then transitions into producing high-toughness creature tokens using cards like Resplendent Angel, Crested Sunmare, and Grove of the Guardian, triggering large lifegain bursts upon entry. Trostani populates these powerful tokens each turn to grow an imposing battlefield. Lifegain triggers convert into lethal board states through +1/+1 counter engines like Archangel of Thune and Nykthos Paragon, or alternate win conditions such as Aetherflux Reservoir and an Encore-cast Soul of Eternity. While vulnerable to mass exile effects, the deck maintains high redundancy among its token creators and relies on instant-speed protection like Grand Crescendo and Rootborn Defenses to secure combat victories.
