Commander: The Howling Abomination

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a low-to-the-ground Zada-style spellslinger deck built around The Howling Abomination. The primary plan is to cast the hasty commander on turn three, then chain cheap instant and sorcery spells that target it, turning each trigger into +2/+2, card draw, and 2 damage to every opponent. Leyline of Resonance, Frontline Heroism, Mirrorwing Dragon, and Zada multiply those spells. The deck wins through a single massive trample attack for 21 commander damage, Chandra's Ignition, or a poison kill with Venerated Rotpriest. A secondary Zada engine can take over if the commander is removed, but most lines center on the Abomination.
